Indonesian food & Foodism
Kue pancong is Betawi snack. According to Wikipedia, Betawi is the descendants of the people living in and around Batavia (Batavia is old name for Jakarta) and recognized as an ethnic group from around the 18th-19th century.of Jakarta. Compare to other street food, kue pancong  is not as easy as to found .Luckily, I found this one on my way to office. Kue pancong seller carried their wooden cart on shoulder and wandering around resident complex. Sometimes they stopped by in side street or in crossing bridge like this. Kue pancong made from flour mix with coconut and eggs. For one strip of kue pancong cost around Rp. 7000,-. Pretty cheap.
