Cap cai (Hanzi: 杂碎, Hanyu Pinyin: za sui) is a Hokkien dialect which means literally "a variety of vegetables". Cap cai is the name of a popular Chinese dishes are distinctive because of the many kinds of cooked vegetables. Not necessarily the amount of vegetables, but many mistakenly think that the cap cai must contain 10 kinds of vegetables as is literally means "ten vegetables".
